Description

Background "Description: Removal and replacement of Dodge Gym basketball court flooring; and removal and replacement of the four (4) Dodge Gym racquetball floors. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This item prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F33600-01-T-0548 is Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The proposed contract being procured is set aside for small business only. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235520 and standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 1752. The acquisition has 3 line items. The items being acquired are: The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, and supplies for the complete and successful removal and disposal and replacement of flooring. Granwood flooring or equivalent will be installed with mortar setting bed system over existing concrete subfloor. Contractor shall install all game lines and markings on the floors to correspond with those necessary for playing basketball and racquetball. Contractor shall be responsible for clean up and disposal of all materials upon completion of installations. Square footage is: 3,470 for basketball court and 806 sq ft for each of the 4 racquetball courts. In accordance with FAR Part 13.101(b)(1), this will be awarded on an "all-or-none" basis. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1 (Mar 2000), Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial are hereby incorporated by reference. Evaluation will be based on best value (price, past performance and quality). Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. Delivery is required within 30 days of award, net 30-day payment terms. The FOB POINT IS DESTINATION.
