- Description
- USDA Forest Service,Southwestern Region intends to contract for written species accounts for plants that are potentially negatively affected by ungulate grazing. The accounts will include the basic biology and ecology of the species, the affects of grazing on the plants, any possible management of the species and references. A Regional Forest Service team has identified an initial species list of plants that maybe negatively affected. The vendor will review this list and modify the list as needed, adding or deleting species. The vendor must have knowledge of plants within the Southwestern Region, Arizona and New Mexico, and the effects of grazing on the selected plants. The estimated maximum time required for this project will be six months, during October 1, 2001 and completed no later than March 31, 2002. These accounts will be included in the General Technical Report published by the Rocky Mountain Research Station.
