- ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TO SP4700-01-X-0001: QUESTION 1. Regarding Task 7 and the associated deliverable, the task discusses providing a written critique of final team report and recommendations. Any clarification on what this task is requesting? RESPONSE: The final report shall include information gathered from Tasks 2 through 6. QUESTION 2. In section 15 of the PWS, it states the contractor shall provide previous reports similar to this type of study. When do these samples have to be provided? RESPONSE: 30 days after contract award. QUESTION 3. May we obtain samples of the DID's listed in paragraph 7 of the RFP? RESPONSE: Yes, 15 days after contract award. QUESTION 4. Is SAP R/3 the selected ERP package decided upon in the merger of DISOC and DSIO? RESPONSE: Yes. QUESTION 5. Please provide information on the size of the two organizations with respect to number and location of individuals (including satellites). RESPONSE: Number: DISOC 118 DSIO 214; Location: Columbus, OH; Philadelphia, PA; Utah; and Battle Creek MI. QUESTION 6. What processes functions have been identified (i.e. purchase order) and what is the number of people performing each function? RESPONSE: This information will be discussed after contract award. QUESTION 7. Are EDI transactions currently being utilized? RESPONSE: No. QUESTION 8. With the recent national events, it there any delayed to the original timetable outlined, including the response date of September 17th? RESPONSE: No. QUESTION 9. What is the anticipated (expectation) availability of decision makers (from DISOC and, or DSIO) within the process (i.e. 5%, 10%, 25%)? RESPONSE: They are expected to be 100% involved in the decision-making, analysis of the reports and evaluation of the deliverables. The Director of DSIO will have final decision. QUESTION 10. Since a separate solicitation is now going to occur, are all subjects listed above still required in the white paper? RESPONSE: Yes. QUESTION 11. Do you expect cost and contractual information in our white papers? RESPONSE: Yes, your cost information is expected in the White Paper. If space is critical your white paper does not have to include your contractual information.
