Description

This is a combined CBD/Synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contractor to design and provide a drawing to reconfigure two offices, approximately 100 work/desk pods, using existing furniture and minimal additional furniture pieces. In addition, contractor is to provide a cost estimate to accomplish this task. Offeror must provide evidence of experience with disassembly/assembly of Center Core Furniture and Parts. Delivery of furniture pieces shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities by submitting: (1) Verification that they have experience with Center Core Furniture Disassembly and Assembly (2) Verification that they can obtain the required/equivalent replacement parts from the OEM; and (3) verification that the concern has previously completed a similar project for the Government or the OEM. Note: No Drawings, Specifications or schematics are available from this agency. Appointments to view office spaces may be scheduled for September 18th or 19th, 2001. All responsible and responsive sources are invited to express their interest and ability to perform the above-described reconfiguration, via fax to Sue Wiedmann, no later than September 20, 2001. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
