Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking sources interested in responding to a Request for Quotation for the provision of Diagnostic X-Ray Interpretation services for the Federal Correctional institution (FCI)located at Pekin, Illinois. The awarded contract will consist of a base year plus two option years. The contractor will not be required to perform the services at the facility. The radiographs can be sent from the facility to the contractor. The contractor will be required to perform 1 session per month which will consist of two hundred and fifty films (250)being interpreted each month. Radiologic films will be produced at FCI, Pekin. The Contractor will provide services as a Radiologist to interpret the films. The Contractor will be required to have a license to practive radiology and be board certified in radiology. The Contractor also must provide credentials as required by Joint Commission verifying medical credentials. Award will be made based on price per session (250 films)with all professional qualifications having been met. The procurement will be set aside for small business concerns. The projected issue date for a contract is 10/05/01. The projected date for contract award is 10/22/01. This will be considered a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Pt. 12.3.
