NINTH ANNUAL MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL Tennessee Minority Supplier Development Council (TMSDC) announces it's Ninth Annual Minority Business Development Conference. "Building Stronger Partnerships in East Tennessee" is the theme. The conference will be held October 10-11 at the Hilton Knoxville hotel. This annual event is designed to foster business relationships among corporate buyers, Government purchasing agents and small minority businesses. Doris Heim, Director of Business Systems for BWXT Y-12, LLC in Oak Ridge, Freda Hopper, Supplier Advocate Manager for Bechtel Jacobs Company, LLC and Dennis Upton, Director of Human Resources at Knoxville Utilities Board are serving as Co-chairs of the 2001 Business Development Conferences. Keynote speakers are Rod Delmonico, head baseball coach of the University of Tennessee, and Edythe (Edye) Ellis, Free Lance Communications Specialist.
