Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitaion for commercial items and service prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisiion Regulation, Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Request for Proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation incorporates provisions through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The NAICS code is 561621, with a small business size standard at $9million. The Tennessee Army National Guard has a requirement for a Closed Circuit Television system to include ten stand alone cameras. Five each Pelco Spectra II Done System or equal, low light color cameras with Pan/tilt/zoom/, mounts and poles as required. Five each High Resolution color cameras, 480 lines, low light (.3 lux) w/5-50mm vari-focus, auto iris lens and environmental housing and mount. An Access Control Gate System, made of Anchor Aluminum. Six each to include B&B Slide Gate Operator, John Green Power Master Barrier Arm Gate Operator and Telephone Intercom & Gate Controller, (Brand names or equal). Includes training on the equipment for the guards. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for all contractors interested in this project for Friday September 21, 2001 at 10 A.M. at the Guard Shack, 3041 Sidco Drive, Nashville, TN. Proposals are due by September 26, 2001 at 4:30 P.M. Evaluation factors will be based on low cost and being technically acceptable. Past performance may be considered.
