Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to purchase from Thermo NESLAB, Portsmouth, NH on a sole source basis four HX-150A Digital Refrigerated Recirculators for spares. The Digital Refrigerated Recirculators shall have the following: 1) Heat removal capacity: 4500 watts @ 20 degrees C (15345 BTU/hr); 2) Temperature range: +5 degrees C to + 35 degrees C; 3) Stability: +/-0.1 degrees C; 4) Stainless Steel reservoir and evaporator coil; 5) Drain for fluid removal; 6) Hot gas bypass temperature control; 7) Pumping capacity: 6gpm@ 18psi; 8) Temperature Controller -- programmable self diagnostic microprocessor with 10 digit display and keypad that displays, setpoint & recirculating fluid temperature to 1 degree C resolution, adjustable alarm limits, low level, high/low temperature and low fault with alarm, process flow readout, 15 pin analog interface port, service loop for build and field trouble shooting; 9) Solid state temperature control system; 10) Locking casters; 11) Removable side panels; 12) Mechanical ball valve for precise flow control; 13) Pressure gage for supply fluid; 14) Refrigerant type R-22 or equivalent; 15) Reservoir volume: 8 gallons; 16) Power requirement: 208/230 volt, 60Hz, 1 phase; 17) Air cooled condenser; 18) Air intake requirements: 1,050 cu ft/min. The required Recirculator system must be compatible with the MK 695 TSTS hardware and software architecture and must be capable of replacing/sparing the existing Mk 695 TSTS recirculator system components without test set modifications. Thermo NESLAB HX-150A Digital Refrigerated Recirculator system is the only recirculator fully compatible with the Mk 695 hardware and software architecture and the only systems that serves as a direct replacement or spare for the existing Mk 695 components. Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Parts 12 and 13 will be used. Delivery will be FOB Destination, Newport, RI no later than 19 October 2001. NAICS Code 333298, standard size 500 employees.
