Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of the Basic Ordering Agreement with Lockheed Martin Corporation, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems, Syracuse, New York. Orders will be issued for Test Support, Depot Support, Installation Support, Training, Technical Test Assistance, Repair and Refurbishment of AMNS Systems and/or Modification of the AMNS, Spare and Repair Parts, Engineering Change, Installation and Checkout, Integrated Logistics Support, Training, Maintenance and Engineering Services. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 )(1). Lockheed Martin Corporation, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems is the designer and manufacturer of the Airborne Mine Neutralization System. Lockheed is the only company currently possessing the knowledge of the equipment requirement to satisfactorily pe rform the work under the orders contemplated. No other source has the technical qualification and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy s requirements.
