Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Master Com Inc. of McFarland, WI to upgrade the existing ProCare 4000 Nurse Call System to a ProCare 6000 at the VA Hospital, Madison WI, NAICS: 811213. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC-GLAC, Building 5, 5000 W. National Ave. Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Master Com. Inc.
