Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for janitorial services to be performed at the Chesapeake City Project Office and the C&D Canal Museum, both located in Chesapeake City, Maryland. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government in terms of the factors stated. ALTHOUGH COST IS ONE OF THE FACTORS TO BE EVALUATED, IT IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS TECHNICAL COMPETENCE. AWARD OF A CONTRACT WILL NOT BE BASED SOLELY ON A LOWEST COST BASIS. Offerors should submit their proposals in two separate parts: a cost proposal and a technical proposal. Each technical proposal will be evaluated on the basis of the following factors, which are of equal importance: Factor 1- Technical Adequacy of Proposal; Factor 2 Managerial/Organizational Capability of Offeror; and Factor 3- Past Performance. Solicitation Number DACW61-01-R-0047 is expected to be posted at https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or about September 19, 2001. No written, telephoned or faxed requests from Contractors will be accepted and no hard copies of this solicitation will be mailed. In order to submit an offer, Contractors must register on the website and download their own hard copy of the Solicitation.
