Description

The Operational Contracting Division, Commercial Acquisitions Branch, Hanscom AFB, MA intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide all personnel, supervision, and equipment to perform installation and repair services at the Tennis Shelter. Installation and repair services are to consist of the following: 1. Heat weld over flaps inside the facility. 2. Patch and seal all tears in the fabric inside and outside of the facility. 3. Remove 8 fabric curtain doors. 4. Install 8 headers for mounting new roll up doors. 5. Install 8 roll up doors with manual chain hoist. Manufacture of and parts required: 1. Purchase 8 metal roll up doors. 2. Engineer, design and manufacture 8 mounting braces for roll up doors. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-2, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial, FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation- Commercial Items, the evaluation factors to be included in paragraph (a) are "Technical capability of the item, Price and Past Performance", FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal); FAR 52.212-4- Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.(in paragraph (b) the following clauses apply; FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52-222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-41), FAR 52.204-6, Contractor Identification Number- Date Universal Numbering System DUNS Number, FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (CCR), DFARS 252.204-7001, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Reporting and DFARS 252.204-7004, required Contractor Registration (Mar 2000).
