Description

This is a solicitation for commercial items issued by the 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) document subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number F31610-01-Q-5001 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The government intends to issue a purchase order for hydrant carts pending funding. No partial quotes will be considered. Please acknowledge all items on the quotations (see attached). The provisions and clauses applicable to this purchase order are included. NAICS CODE: 336413 Quotes must be valid for 30 calendar days after the due date of this RFQ. It is anticipated that the SF 1449 solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 18 Sep 2001 on the Government?s Electronic Posting System (FedBizOpps) at www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Include the following information with your request: (1) Company Name, (2) Point of Contact, (3) Phone and FAX Numbers, (4) E-mail Address, (5) Street Address with 9-digit Zip Code, and (6) Business Size Status. E-mail is the preferred method of providing this information. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
