The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, White Sands Contracting Division, White Sands Missile Range, NM intends to issue a purchase order to Astro-Med, Inc/Astro-Med Industrial Park, West Warwick, R.I. 02893-0902 for the following items: 4 each Da ta Acquisition Recorder 6 channel, Model Number DASH 18-6; 4 each DASH 18-6 Upgrade to 15 channel; 2 each Thermal Printer (Recorder) PN: SCR-18 and 1 each Case of Chart Paper (20 rolls) PN: S-48. FOB is Destination at White Sands Missile Range. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offer or Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Oct 2000) with his quote. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions at FAR Parts 52.212-1, In structions to Offerors Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May 2001) and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (May 2001), apply t o this acquisition. Interested firms must present clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide these items, in writing, within 5 days after the date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the Government.
