Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is FA2550-01-Q-0605 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). (iii) The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20001213. (iv) This requirement is set-aside for small business. The NAICS/Standard Industrial Classification is 421910 and the Business Size Standard is 100 employees. (v) A list of the required equipment is located on the attached solicitation. Installation of wall pads will be accomplished on cinder blocks/concrete walls. Installation of score board and shot clock will be mounted on cinder blocks/concrete walls with conduit available for the pulling of electrical wiring and breaker installation. Installation of basketball goals will require mounting support structure to cinder block/concrete walls with conduit available for the pulling of electrical wiring and breaker installation. Installation of curtain will be on steel beams from the gymnasium ceiling with conduit available for the pulling of electrical wiring and breaker installation. Site visit will not be held due to security reasons. FOB destination delivery no earlier than 1 Nov 01 and no later than 15 Nov 01 50 SPTG/SV, Bldg 120, at Schriever AFB, CO 80912. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. The following additional provisions and clauses apply: 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offerors whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: 1) Price. Price will be considered as the only factor. Price will be evaluated to determine its fairness, completeness, and reasonableness as it relates to the items offered. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with offer and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. The following statement apply: IT Statement ? Year 2000 Compliance Requirement ? All information technology items must be year 2000 compliant, or non-compliant items must be upgraded to be year 2000 compliant. Year 2000 compliant means information technology that accurately processes dates/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) from, into, and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and the year 1999, 2000, and leap year calculation. Furthermore, year 2000 compliant information technology, shall accurately process date/time data if the other information technology, shall accurately process date/time data if the other information technology proper exchanges date/time data with it.
