Description

Reference CBD Submission Number 50N7Q0 (June 4, 2001) and four subsequent modifications, Submission Numbers: 449388 (April 27, 2000), 392269 (October 15, 1999), 395936 (October 28, 1999) and 399978 (November 10, 1999). The U.S. Army Military District of Wa shington (MDW) Acquisition Center, Ft. Belvoir, VA issued Solicitation Number DADW35-01-T-0141 to provide administrative and maintenance support services for the Integrated Facilities System (IFS) in support of Base Operations at Ft. Hamilton, NY. Procedur es used are Cost Comparison Study procedures regulated by OMB A-76 and DA PAM 5-20. This function was previously synopsized using the CBD submission numbers listed above. This solicitation also uses the Simplified Acquisition Commercial Activity procedures authorized by FAR Parts 12 and 13 and is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Cost Comparison process will determine if the DPW operations support services functions will be converted from government managed function to contractor managed operation. This requirement includes maintenance and security of the facilities information database systems, managing and maintaining IFS modules, and retrieving data base information as required. The contract will have a phase-in period, base period and four option year s. Performance is estimated to begin April 1, 2001. The primary SIC is 8744, $5MIL.
