Description

(I)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation F02601-01-T-0219 is being issued as a request for proposal. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as an Unrestricted Purchase under Standard Industrial Classification code 1541 and North American Industry Classification System Code (NIACS) 23331, size standard $27.5 million. (V) Line Item 0001: Chemical Resistant Urethane floor coating. (VI) Prepare concrete floors and install reflective chemical resistant urethane coating in accordance with Technical Specification. Two (2) emblems shall be affixed under the CRU. PLEASE NOTE: There are a total of seven attachments to this solicitation; drawings two (2) each numbered 5245-13, Specifications, Addenda to FAR, Wage Determination rates, Moisture Test results, Addendum #1-Wing emblem, and Addendum #2-Flight Patch. To obtain copies of this contact the below listed office immediately. (VII) The facility shall be accomplished over a weekend and off-duty hours, starting Friday 5 October 2001 at 6:00 am through Monday 8 Oct 2001 at 6:00 pm local time. Place of work: Engine Shop, Building 5245, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. FOB POINT IS DESTINATION. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerers- Commercial Items applies. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with its offer. (XI) Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XVI) Site visit will be held 21 September 2001 at 10:00 am local time. To gain base access call POC listed below No Later Than 20 September 2001 at 4:00 pm local time. Quotations are due to the 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S. Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, by 25 September 2001, 4 p.m. local time.
