Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command-Atlantic intends to procure utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 and policies in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items K910B Buster Kits and CT-30 Kits (Contraband Detection) which are proprietary products of Campbell Security Equipment Co., of Pleasant Hill, CA. Any equipment offered must use Gama Ray Backscatter technology with a radio active source of Barium 133 (with a half life of 11 years) not to exceed 10 uCi. The government intends to purchase this equipment from SAS R&D Services, Inc., which is an exclusive distributor of Campbell Security Equipment Co. No substitute will satisfy agency's requirements. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concern. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334511 and Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.
