The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memphis, TN is seeking to identify potential sources providing the following: S3400: 6640Staining apparatus, microscope slide Autostainer universal staining system w/ computer (code s340030): is automated horizontal slide processing System compatible with currently available reagents for the staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded. Tissues, frozen sections, cytospins, cell smears, and fine needle aspirates. It consists of a slide processing unit, a desktop personal computer and a printer. 40"w x 27"d x 24'h; weight 140lb; 120v: 110/120v, 60hz (+or-2 Hz); normal operating temp. 18-26c (64-79f); slide rack capacity 1-12 slides; total slide capacity 1-48 glass slides; reagent capacity: 64 different reagents; regents dispense volumes: 100, 150, 200, 400 and 600 UL; regent probe volume compacity: 1.2 ml; fluid handing components: high precision, fixed stainless steel, teflon-coated reagent probe, independent wash and blow elements. Pentium 500 PC with 98 software or later versions. S341630: 2 glass slide labeling system: dako seymour, code s341630 includes the printer; software; manual; 6 rolls of 500 labels per roll; printer ribbon; and cleaning kit.
