NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Cascade Microtech Summit 9101 Manual Probe Station with 6" nickel chuck and accessories as listed below. Quantities shall be one each unless otherwise specified. Mitutoyo Finescope VMS-70Z with 2,10 and 20X objectives. The remaining items are all Cacade Microtech part numbers. Large area optics bridge 102-155, mounting kit for Mitutoyo scope 122-246, color camera with cable and microscope adaptor for Mitutoyo scope VVC-02/M, 20" high resoloution color monitor 104-457, east or west rf positioner 101-543 (2 each), standard 40 ghz air coplanar probe ACP-40 (2 each), rf cables 101-162 (2 each), calibration kit 101-338, ISS calibration standard 101-190, Wincal calibration software VNACAL-WIN-M, DC positioner with magnetic base and PHJ probe holder MD1/MLS, DC positioner with magnetic base and PHJ probe holder MD1/MRS, set of 25 tungsten probe tips with 2.4 micro tips with 45 degree bend PTT-24/4-25, platen extension 114-037, vibration isolation table ACC-047, vacuum pump 104-103, air compressor 102-965. Bids are being solicited on a brand name or equal basis. Bidders quoting equals must submit sufficient documentation with their bid to establish that this is the case. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334515 and 500, respectively, The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 3-185418 is on or about 9-20-01 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 9-27-01. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
