This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FOB Point: Destination within 30 days after award of a purchase order. Interested offers shall submit descriptive literature along with their cost quotation. Offerors who are offering other than the Varian, Inc. systems shall submit descriptive literature in sufficient detail as to demonstrate that the systems offered meets or exceeds Varian, Inc. systems specifications. Award will be made to the vendor who submits the lowest price system that meets all technical specifications. The Government may make its decision on the basis of initial quotations received and not have discussions. Therefore each initial quotation should contain the offeror?s best terms from both a price and technical standpoint. This request for quotation number R-1010-00-1.
