Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote. The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis to Brashear L.P. pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source . The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 443130. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center at White Sands Missile Range, NM has a requirement for twenty-three (23) Lens Focus Controllers Model FR-1. The lens focus control lers will be H/W/L: 6.25/8.00/5.00in. with features of COT micro controller and micro controller interface board, analog inputs, digital inputs and digital outputs with operating manuals(not separately priced). The quantity will be six (6) for the SR-50 l ens, twelve (12) for the SR-100 lens and five (5) for the SR-150 lens. FOB is Destination White Sands Missile Range, NM. Delivery is one (1) of each unit size (SR-50, SR-100 and SR150) within 30 days and the remaining units within 90 days of award. Testi ng and Acceptance will be accomplished within 30 days from the date of receipt of the equipment at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions a nd clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-11 Liquidated Damages Supplies, Services, or Research and Development; FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items; FAR 52.21 2-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Commercial Items; FAR 52.246-2 Inspection of Supplies Fixed-Price; FAR 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party; DFAR S 252.212-7000 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prior to award. Vendors that have a bona fide interest must also present clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide this requirement in writing.
