Description: Non-personal services to provide labor, tools, equipment, and supervision for the calibration of 172 instruments located in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This item is prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis/Solicitation F33600-01-T-0569 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 8734. The NAIC code is 541380. Size standard is $5 million. The acquisition has one line item (0001): Non-personal services to provide labor, tools, and equipment for the calibration of 172 instruments on 5 boilers (3 coal fired and 2 package boilers) located at Bldg 20770 on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. If any device is found not functional or cannot be properly calibrated, this will be brought to the attention of the Project Manager and will be brought to standard outside this contract. Secondary or Common System devices are not included in this contract. Contractor will provide documentation for each device calibrated. Period of Performance is 27 Sep 01 through 26 Oct 01. Wage Determination 1994-2419 Revision No. 18 dated 05/31/2001 is hereby incorporated into this solicitation and attached at the PIXS website. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial is hereby incorporated by reference. Evaluation will be based on best value (price, past performance and quality). Price: Line item 0001 -- Price will be submitted on the entire requirement. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all.
