Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F11623-01-R-0043 and the solicitation is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP).=20 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27.This is a total small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, and the small business size standard is $5 million. There is 0001 contract line item and the quantity is one (1) each. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to install two 5 hp submersible pumps to replace existing units and install two stainless steel screens around pump intakes. Remove all debris in catch basin, install waterproof coupling flex connectors between pumps and piping to minimize vibration, sand bag waterways to prevent water infiltration while work is being accomplished and supply electrician for installation of electrical and initial start-up. This stage of start-up must have a government representative with knowledge and background of pumps and plumbing. Performance period is 12 days. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The FAR provision 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: Past performance and price. Award will be based on the best value to the government. The government reserves the right to award to other than the offeror with the lowest price. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial items, must be submitted with quote. The provision may be copied from www.arnet.gov. Quote will not be considered without completed provision. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive orders -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
