Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference numbeF9ABCG11280200 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 513322. The size standard is 500 employees: Maintenance Agreement for the period of 01 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002.=20 STATEMENT OF WORK Nonpersonal Service: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the maintenance and repair of Government owned Motorola trunked Land Mobile Radio (LMR) at the 400MHz range for Lackland AFB, TX for the period of 01 Oct 2001 to 30 Sep 2002 in accordance with the manufacturer specifications to include all parts and labor. The following response and repair times must be adhered to: PRIORITY:=20 1. Response Time fixed Equipment (Desktops) Repair Time: Emergency Response Repaired within 72 hrs or less, for Commanders Net Spectra Base Station/Astro Base Station of arrival at Motorola depot subject parts availability. 2. Routine Maintenance (Portables) REPAIR TIME: Repaired within 3-5 calendar days from time of pick up to delivery and return *Priority 1 equipment will fixed equipment and Priority 2 will be portables and all others ** Note: Contractor will provide free disposal of excess Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) batteries specific to the use of the radios mentioned in this contract. Disposal will include shipping cost of batteries. Contractor will ensure and assume all responsibility for disposal of battery material in accordance with federal, state, and local laws wherever batteries are disposed.
