Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) intends to solicit and award a follow-on purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5. The requirement is for on-site maintenance and repair services and telephonic technical support on two Spectrometers manufactured by ThermoElemental (previously known as Thermo Jarrel Ash Corp), which are located at SIMA in San Diego, California. The services shall be performed on (1) AtomScan 25 model and (1) Model 61E. The equipment must be maintained or serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Services shall be performed for one base year starting on 01 October 2001; and may be continued for an additional 4 option years. Quoters will be evaluated on their Past Performance and Price. Past performance must be the same or similar in scope on equipment that is the same or similar in type as the indicated in the solicitation. The annual firm fixed price must include all labor, parts, materials, travel, sales tax, and freight charges. All interested parties may download the RFQ from the NECO website at http: www.neco.navy.mil under the Business Opportunities tab; or obtain a copy by emailing their request to the Contract Specialist/Officer. No paper copies shall be issued or mailed. All responsible sources may submit their quotation, which shall be considered by the contracting officer. The deadline for submitting quotations is 12-noon pacific daylight savings time as described in the solicitation on Thursday, 27 Sep 2001. The anticipated award date shall be no later than 30 Sep 2001.
