Description

The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM)Contracting Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to PRO-TECH Case, Inc., 3036 Abbey Lane, Dallas, Texas 75234. These two (2) purchase orders are for transit cases for peripheral equipment. These cases are custom made to support computer equipment already purchased and fielded. All cases are custom designed to include foam interior, pressure relief valve and solid gaskets, zinc-plated hardware, plastic handles, and fixed casters with two (2) brakes. Due to time constraints and other inevitable circumstances, PRO-TECH is the only contractor available at this time. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and FAR Part 12 for commercial Items. This is a sole source procurement under the authoirty of FAR 6-302-1. Standard Industrial Classification/North American Industry Classification System (SIC/NAICS 4783/488991. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation(RFQ)for competitive quotes. A determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Note 22 APPLIES.
