Description

Due to significant competitive advantage and schedule constraints, the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville intends to make a sole-source, commercial item purchase pursuant to FAR part 13.501 to EPCON Industrial Systems, Inc., 17777 1-45 South, Conroe, TX 77385 for an Industrial Oven for disposal of DPE suits used at the Chemical Agent Munitions Disposal System (CAMDS), near Stockton, UT. The Industrial oven required must be comply with equipment descriptions which are currently documented within the CAMDS RCRA Part B Permit issued by the State of Utah Department of Environment Quality, Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste. In order to meet our customer's needs this equipment must be delivered as soon as possible. The standard industrial code is 3444. This synopsis announcing intent of a sole-source award is not a request for proposals. Businesses that can provide the required items are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response which includes as a minimum the proposed credentials, qualifications, pricing data, past experience, proof of compatibility with existing equipment, and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis, and any such responses may be considered by this agency. Responses are to be sent to the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, ATTN: Kathy Wallace, 4820 University Square, Huntsville, AL 35816. If no written responses are received in 3 calendar days, a sole source order will be issued.
