Description

The DOT's TASC Acquisition Services plans to award a non-competitive contract to the National Institute of Statistical Sciences, of Research Triangle Park, NC, on behalf of the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. The purpose of the contract is to conduct research and issue reports for the Bureau of Transportation Statistics Disclosure Limitation Methods for Tabular Data Project. The National Institute of Statistical Sciences (NISS) is the only known source that has the depth of research expertise in the field of disclosure limitations as evidenced in the National Science Foundation project: Web-based Query System for Disclosure-Limited Statistical Analysis of Confidential Data. The NISS is the only known source that currently has the unique combination of experienced staff in the disclosure limitation field and research expertise related to BTS' needs.
