Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) intends to solicit and award a follow-on purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5. The requirement is for on-site maintenance and repair services on one Sterrad Model 100 medical sterilization machine located at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in San Diego County, California. The equipment must be maintained, repaired, calibrated, and certified in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM's) specifications. The OEM is Advanced Sterilization Products of Johnson and Johnson Medical Inc. Services shall be performed for one base year starting on 01 October 2001; and may be continued for an additional 3 option years. Quoters will be evaluated on their Past Performance and Price with past performance being significantly more important than price. Past performance m ust be the same or similar in scope on equipment that is the same or similar in type as indicated in the solicitation. The monthly firm fixed price must include all labor, parts, materials, travel, sales tax, and freight charges. All interested parties may download the RFQ from the NECO website at http: www.neco.navy.mil under the Business Opportunities tab; or obtain an electronic copy by emailing their request to the Contract Specialist/Officer. Paper copies shall not be issued or mailed. All responsible sources may submit their quotation, which shall be considered by the contracting officer. The deadline for submitting quotations is 3:00 PM pacific daylight savings time as described in the solicitation on Thursday, 27 Sep 2001. The anticipated award date shall be no later than 30 Sep 2001.
