Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for the repair and refurbishment of ISDN Telephones. Contractor shall be responsible for restoring the broken ISDN telephone equipment to proper operating status. All replacement parts used in effecting repairs shall be guaranteed to be equal in all respects including performance, durability and quality to parts specified for use by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contractor will approximate the cosmetic appearance of the telephone equipment, as close as possible, to the condition of the equipment as originally shipped by the manufacturer. The Contractor will do their best to offer the most recent feature package available on all refurbished ISDN telephones. Any ISDN telephone deemed non-repairable will be returned to the authorized Government representative at no charge. The contractor will pick up the broken ISDN telephone equipment from an authorized Government representative in the Information Management Department, Bldg 1490, 47762 Ranch Road, Patuxent River, Maryland via a commercial carrier and have them shipped to the contractor's repair depot. The contractor will provide newly, refurbished ISDN telephones. Upon delivery of equipment, an authorized representative of the Government shall perform inspection of repaired or refurbished ISDN telephone equipment. The Government representative will accept the equipment by written authorization of the original invoice or DD Form 250. The contractor shall provide the Government representative with a copy of the signed original invoice. All repaired or refurbished ISDN telephone equipment shall come with a one-year warranty. The warranty period will begin upon acceptance and receipt of the equipment by an authorized Government representative. The warranty does not cover misuse of the equipment, acts of God or electrical current damage. Solicitation requests may be emailed (electronic submissions only) to thompsonmj@navair.navy.mil.
