Description

Notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Peregrine Systems Inc., San Diego, CA, to provide FleetAnywhere software (SW) application program, training and support at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), Monterey, CA. The program is required to track Government vehicle and equipment data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports. The program must track on all Government vehicles and equipment regarding mileage, fuel usage, maintenance, repairs, downtime, costs for fuel, parts, labor (direct & indirect), accidents, various maintenance schedule, lease costs, inventory on hand throughout the year and produce various management and evaluation summary report, among others. The program must allow users to analyze trends in data collected and summarized. The support required must be 24 hour down system support, including weekends, with unlimited access to assistance by fax, email, telephone or on-line. Peregrine is the sole developer and maintainer of the FleetAnywhere application. Peregrine owns the proprietary software. Request for oral quotation being utilized. Anticipate FFP. Anticipated award date 28 Sep 01. Justification and authority is FAR 6.302-1.
