Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government intends to award a sole-source contract to Metrum-Datatape, Inc. The U. S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center at White Sands Missile Range, NM, has a requirement for 1 each TM R ecorder Model 80 with 72GB Part No. MET80DG, 1 each Model 64 Data I/O for Model 80 (Installed at Factory), 1 each Analog Input Card, 2 channel, 10 MSPS, and 1 each Rack Mount Kit part no. 16822688-002. The Metrum Recorder is required as a direct replaceme nt and must be compatible with the existing TM processing system. The Metrum Recorder utilizes proprietary hardware and software designs. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and there are no addend um to this clause. Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, Clause 52.222-26- Equal Opportunity, Clause 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam ERA Veterans, Clause 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers. Interested vendors must provide documentation to show that they are providing the either same brand name or equal equipment, as well as technical data on its firms capabilities. All responses t o this synopsis must be submitted by close of business 25, Sep 01 in order to be considered by the Government.
