Description

The U.S. Customs Service intends to award as sole source to Commerce Quest, 2201 N. Westshore Blvd., Tampa, FL 33607 for an MQ Tester for Enterprise 2 Server. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 10=20 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302. Commerce Quest is the only known source that can meet the governments requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. (SEE NUMBERED Note 22). Other sources have been considered during market research by the U.S. Customs Service. All proposals received by the Close of Business, 5:00 PM September 28, 2001 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government, Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested parties should submit sufficient information about their capabilities to the attention of Sonja Robinson by the closing date and time stated above.
