Description

This is a Combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N49399-01-T-0147 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov and www.acq.osd.mil. This is a total small business competitive action. The Naval Submarine Base New London requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: Item 0001 Electronic flip sign board double-f ace display, 52.5 Hx12 2 Wx14.5 D each of 2 cabinets. Display area 44 Hx133 W, reflective-scanned continuous matrix. Pixel size: 1 on 1.1 centers, preferred colors black and yellow. Character size 5.4 , 7.6 , 9.8 , 13.1 with standard fonts, internal florescent illumination. Standard graphics plus import files. Windows based software, capable of reverse field generation and update frequency per real time scheduling. Voltage and power 120 VAC, 60Hz (non-interrupted), 20 amps, 5 watt standby, 200 watt maximum, lighting use 300 watts per side, UL listed, must meet FCC part 15 class A. Communications direct cable, modem cellular phone package and wireless. Operating temperature -30C to +60C (-22F to +140F). End panels shall be provided to close space between the two cabinets. Two non-illuminated painted panels with vinyl lettering 2 x12 1 consisting of 27 letters shall be furnish ed to provide identification. No installation required at this time. The functional equipment is required F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and Acceptance will be at place of Delivery Naval Air Station, 700 Fitch Ave. Bldg. 294, Brunswick , Me. 04011. Quotation shall include as a minimum the following: Unit Price FOB Destination, specifications of the product quoted with picture id and model number, best delivery date, a point of contact name and phone number, payment terms, and all provision information called for in 52.212-3. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items. 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercia l Items (Clauses checked under 52.212-5 are: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37,52.232-33. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the resultant order.
