Description

TAC will be issuing Solicitation DABT60-01-R-3041 on or about 8 October 2001 for an A-76 Commercial Activity Study to provide services in support of the Directorate of Information Management (DOIM) functions located at Fort Knox, KY. Services shall includ e, but are not limited to, Technical Consulting, Problem Resolution, TSACS Service Provider, Network Operating System (NOS) and Server Operations, Electronic Messaging, Desktop Computing, Campus Area Network (CAN), Database Management, Protected DNS, Serve r Hardware and Software Support, Webmaster, Remote Processing Support, Installation Support, Data/Voice/Video Communications, IT Plant Configuration, ATS Work Documentation, Telephone Service Center, Telecommunication Center (TCC), and other services as ne cessary to execute the DOIM functions. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541513 with a size standard of $18.0 million. A cost plus award fee contract is contemplated and this solicitation is set-aside for small bu siness. This requirement is a result of an A-76 study conducted under OMB Circular A-76. Formal Source Selection will be utilized. The apparent successful offeror will compete against a Government In-House 'bid'. If contracted, the services will include a 90 day Phase-In period, a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods (the last option will contain a 60-day Phase-Out period included in the 12-month performance period). Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The entire solici tation package will be obtainable via TAC's Home Page at www.tac.eustis.army.mil on or about 8 October 2001. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the TAC web site. Contractors are cautioned to check the web site periodically for amendments. A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. A site visit has been scheduled for 19 October 2001 and will be conducted in accordance with information provided in Section L of the solicitation.
