General Information Document Type: Sources Sought Notice, Solicitation Number: Reference Number F04684-01-T-0561 Posted: September 23, 2001 NAICS: 221310 Description: 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California intends to issue a sole source contract to Central Coast Water Treatment to maintain a Deionization and Microfiltration system. The contract will cover: 9" Weakbase D.I. monthly rental and tank exchange; 9" TriBed monthly rental and tank exchange, and DI monthly service. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
