Description

The Night Vision and Electro-Optics Department at the Naval Surface Warfare center is issuing this Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought synopsis as part of a market survey. Sources are sought that can provide Non-Developmental Item (NDI)/Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) laboratory grade, low power lasers operating at or in the following wavebands 3um to 5um or 8um to 12um and requesting any additional information on infrared optics such as pinholes, microscope objectives, collimating optics, and mirrors as accessories for use with an infrared laser. General objectives are to use the laser and infrared optics for infrared lens testing and infrared interferometry. Interested vendors are asked to provide a description and technical specification of the lasers and infrared optical accessories. Pricing and availability information should also be provided. Pricing should be provided in orders of small quantities.
