Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has a requirement for Thermocouple wire, extension wire and connectors. Items and Services includes: 5 Ea. Duplex extension grade thermocouple wire, ASNI Type KX, ANSI color coded extruded PVC insulation, 24 AWG, stranded conductors, 1000 foot spool, (Omega Cat. No. EXPP-K-24S-1000); 1 Ea. Thermocouple Wire, thin wall teflon insulated, single strand, 1000 foot, type K, conductor materials Chromega and Alomega, various wire diameters such as: Chromega -- 0.0003 in. diameter (omega cat. No. TFCY-003-100); Chromega -- 0.0005 in. diameter (omega cat. No. TFCY-005-100); Chromega -- 0.010 in. diameter (omega cat. no. TFCY-010-100); Chromega -- 0.015 in. diameter (omega cat. no. Miniature connectors, glass filled nylon body, 220 C service temperature, write-on window, Type K alloy, yellow shell color, accepts Male/Femal pair (Omega Cat. No. SMPW-K-MF) Male (Omega Cat. No. SMPW-K-M). 1 Ea. Thermocoat cement and lacquer kit includes copper oxide cement, liquid for cement, heat-curing silicone lacquer, high temp cement binder and filler, assorted fine-gage ceramic insulators, assorted fine-gage tubing, brushes, cordscrew, assorted sleeving (Omega Cat. No. THERMCOAT). Special limits of error Type K thermocouple wire, solid wire conductor with glass braid sheath, glass brain sheath over pair of conductors, 1000 foot spool: 10 Ea. 24 AWG (Omega Cat. No. GG-K-24-SLE-1000); 10 Ea. 28 AWG (Omega Cat. No. GG-K-28-SLE-1000)/ 10 Ea. 30 AWG (Omega Cat. No. GG-K-30-SLE-1000) . This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. All interested parties must submit a quote that demonstrates capability to provide premium maintenance support to the JSM-5910LV Scanning Electron Microscope to include costs, and detailed literature on ability to perform this service by 5:00 p.m. EST Sept. 28, 2001. All quotes must include detailed literature on ability and resources to perform this service. Awardee must complete an SF-3381, ACH/Vendor Miscellaneous Payment Enrollment Form, for payment via electronic funds transfer. Quotes will be acceptable by mail or by facsimile at 202/927-8688). The period of performance is for 12 months from the date of award. Requirement is for the purchase of laboratory equipment and support services. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: (a) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, (b) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, (c) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Awardee must complete a SF-3381 ACH Vendor/Miscellaneous Payment Enrollment Form. Quotes must include delivered price and product literature, which lists specifications. Award will be based on meeting the technical specifications listed above, on an ALL OR NONE basis. Quotes will be acceptable by mail or by facsimile at 202/927-8688.
