F41636-01-T-C0578 -- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS and SOLICITATION, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information below. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001 Xtreme Z vest (Medium), w/zylon, includes Akwadyne mesh with tails and soft trauma insert, black, female, Level IIIA, 2 each. CLIN 0002 Xtreme Z vest (Small), w/zylon, includes Akwadyne mesh with tails and soft trauma insert, black, female, Level IIIA, 1 each. CLIN 0003 Xtreme Z vest (Medium), includes Akwadyne mesh with tails and soft trauma insert, AMA?s exclusive Quadra Link Energy Dispersion System, constructed with Spectra Shield Plus and Gold Flex that increases the rate of energy dispersion, black, fullside, Level IIIA, 20 each. CLIN 0004 Xtreme Z vest (Large), includes Akwadyne mesh with tails and soft trauma insert, AMA?s exclusive Quadra Link Energy Dispersion System, constructed with Spectra Shield Plus and Gold Flex that increases the rate of energy dispersion, black, fullside, Level IIIA, 10 each. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement request. Offerors must complete Representations and Certifications if not already on file with this office, and must be registered in the Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. An official separate request for quotation (RFQ), or request for proposal (RFP), will not be provided incidental to this announcement. All interested parties may be submit their offers via Fax, e-mail, or, US Postal System. Award will be based on conformance to the conditions of the requirement, evaluation of price, responsibility of offeror, and the overall best value to the Government, in terms of, technical capability, price, delivery, and special features. Quotes must be received no later than 4:00PM (CST), 21 Sep 2001, with acceptance to be valid for 30 days.
