Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the intentions of Headquarters, US Army Intelligence and Security Command to enter into an award with FJW Optical Systems, Inc., on a sole source basis and is the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Alternate items will not be cons idered. This NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Purchase Request Number W23BFK-1234-7006 is provided for identification purposes only. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requireme nt or submit quotations. All quotations received within 2 days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase based upon responses to this notice is so lely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those i n effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This action is 100% set aside for small business.
