Description

This procurement may result in a firm fixed-price, indefinite quantity contract to provide Weight Handling Equipment (WHE), Maintenance and Certification for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, MD. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, management, training, and Quality Control necessary for the performance of Preventive Maintenance, Inspection, and Services (PMIS) and the related Load Tests and Certifications to various Category I, Category II, and Category III Weight Handling Equipment. The resulting contract will include a base period of twelve months and four, one- year options. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 235950. Award will be based on price and other non-priced factors. Technical/management factors, past performance, and cost are all considered equal in importance to each other in determining the best overall value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about 09 Oct 2001. If needed, a location of the preproposal conference will be identified in the solicitation package. This is an internet solicitation only.
