Description

This modification is to change the response date on this solicitation from August 31,2001 to October 11, 2001. NOTE: When submitting proposals please reference solicitation number F61775-02-R-0001 This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 8711. The project is located in the United Kingdom. The scope of this contract extends to any individual(s), base, national, or European-wide requirement pertaining to planning, design, acquisition, construction or operation of housing, infrastructure systems and types, facilities, under the various US funding programs and initiatives, at any installation for any US DOD service or agency operating in the European Community. The scope of work consists, but is not limited to, providing advice and technical assistance on the execution of US programs in the European community of nations, and the United Kingdom, in particular. The contractor will provide expertise on the provision of construction and day-to-day work services for US visiting forces as provided under various nation-to-nation agreements, to include advice on past, present, and future host nation and European Union laws, host nation policies, and construction industry practices, to facilitate infrastructure support for the US Forces. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 25 September 01 with closing date 15 calendar days after issuance.
