Description

Under the authority of FAR 6.301-1 the Office of Inspector General (OIG) intends to award a sole source contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Phillip Rodokanakis to provide expert assistance in developing and delivering training modules for presentation to both OIG and MMS personnel involved in the outer continental shelf criminal referral process. The position requires a specialist with experience in outer continental shelf criminal referral procedures, sufficient guidance and training to MMS inspectors, reviewing officers and program coordinators regarding types of violations and circumstances. The period of performance will be from date of award through December 30, 2001. Mr. Rodokanakis is the only responsible source to provide this service. Interested contractor shall respond, in writing, showing clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. In doing so, interested contractors must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet OIG's needs. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the date of this synopsis, a sole source contract will be issued to the proposed contractor without further notice.
