Description

The US Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service/GovWorks and the Redstone Technical Test Center intend to purchase, from Novatel, Inc., Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 16 each, NovAtel GPS Systems, Model ProPak II RT-2 consisting of 2 cm real-time kinematic (RTK) accuracy with "on the fly" initialization, L1-C/A code and carrier tracking, L2-P-code and full wavelength carier tracking, 24-channel "all in view" parallet tracking, fast reaacquisition, patented narrow correlator technology, 5 or 10 MHz external oscillator input, 10 Hz position output rate, 10 Hz raw data output rate, 1 PPS output, Event market, RTCM SC104 v 2.1/2.2, RTCA SC159 RINEX v 2.0, NMEA 0183 v 2.0 transmit and receive, Transmit CMR v. 3.0 receive CMR v 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, GPSolutiotn (TM), Windows compatible graphical user interface. These items are being procured to augment an existing system currently using ProPak II RT-2 GPS Receivers. These items must be hardware compatible with the existing components. No solicitation exists for this requirement. Shipment will be to the US Army Redstone Technical Test Center, Huntsville, AL by 31 Oct 2001. A determinatiotn not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing a response to this notice. See Note 22.
