Description

89-Subsistence The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Far East Commissaries, Western Pacific Region. Requirements are two fold: 1.) Supplies are purchased from the contractor to include transportation to the point of embarkation and transported via government transportation and 2.) for the Management and Operation of In-Store Deli/Bakeries in Commissaries on overseas military installations in Government Owned Facilities. The in-store operations include three types of deli/bakery operations, they are: a.) Full-scale deli bakery operation; b.) Deli with a mini bakeshop c.) Mini deli with thaw/serve bakery products and d.) Satellite locations which receive prepackaged products such as sandwiches, potato salad and the like. The required delivery schedule is 17 days from the order issue date. Award will be for a Requirements, fixed price with a special factor adjustment for cheese products plus in-store operations fee. Performance shall be for a base period of 24 months plus three, one-year option periods. Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal on or about November 2, 2001. Performance is scheduled to begin on January 2, 2001 that includes a 75-day orientation period. The SIC is 5499 & the NAICS code is 445299 for this requirement the size standard is $5,000,000. Solicitation is to be issued on an unrestricted basis. All requests for a copy of the solicitation must be in writing and should include the solicitation number as well as a complete name and address of the firm, business size status, point of contact, phone and facsimile numbers of the requestor or their designated representative. For the purpose of this solicitation, there is one group comprised of four countries.
