EMAIL: (jeanie.clark@redstone.army.mil) This effort is for Contractor Operated Depot Level modernization of 341 Guidance Enhancement Missiles (GEM) Downlinks for PATRIOT Advanced Capability-2 (PAC-2) missiles and PATRIOT GEM to PATRIOT Guidance Enhanced Missiles Plus (GEM+) through the Continuou s Technology Refreshment (CTR) Program, (formerly Modernization Through Spares). The proposed procurement will be a modification to the initial CTR contract DAAH01-00D0004, and will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements Type Contractual Arrangement. The C TR for the GEM to GEM+ Downlink involves the installation of the Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Oscillator. This modification will cover the out years requirements for FY 02 FY 06. Orders will only be issued if requirements materialize and funds are availabl e. RFP will be issued to Raytheon Systems Co, 350 Lowell St, Andover, MA 01810. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the clos ing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one s ource.
