Please join us for the Chemical Biological Defense Executive Roundtable Breakfast on Tuesday, October 30, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA, (Phone 703-920-3230). The Roundtable registration begins at 7:00 am with a buffet breakfast at 7:15am -- it will conclude at approximately 9:30am. This event is sponsored by the Chemical Biological Defense Division of the National Defense Industrial Association, in support of the Department of Defense chemical/ biological defense, demilitarization, and threat reduction programs. The following discussions will be featured: Update of CBD Program Initiatives & Issues Dr Anna Johnson-Winegar, Deputy Assistant to the SECDEF for Chemical/Biological Defense Update on Current Initiatives and Activities in the Chemical Demilitarization Arena Dr. Hank Dubin, Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army (Chemical Demilitarization) In addition, Col Lenonard Izzo, Executive Secretary for the Joint NBC Defense Board, has been invited to discuss recent changes in the Army headquaters organization that may impact this mission area as well as emerging trends from the Strategic Review. There are likely to be significant new issues or information by the time of this meeting on initiatives in combating CBRNE terrorism and related Homeland Defense requirements Attendees are requested to submit questions for these panelists in advance to the Chair, CBD Div, NDIA, BG(R) Walt Busbee at w.busbee@worldnet.att.net. The fee to register is $50. Registration for this event ends on Friday October 26.
