Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for construction services to perform levee repairs at Wainwright Levee, near the community of Wainwright, MO. The work will include the following: all plant, labor , materials, and equipment, and performing all operations necessary to reconstruct and repair damaged levees due to slope erosion and embankment failures (slides). An organized site visit has been scheduled for 19 October 2001 at 0900. Point-of-Contact for site visit is Cliff Sanders at 660-338-2278. Participants will meet at junction of State Hwy 94 and County Rd 4029 (immediately west of Hwy 94 bridge crossing over Rivaux Creek) located at community of Wainwright, MO (this will be the only organized site visit for this project). Estimated magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. Estimated time of completion is 60 calendar days. Solicitation will be available on or about 17 Oct 2001.
