Description

Public Notice of availability of a prospectus for the award of a concession contract authorizing the summer seasonal operation of a beach refreshment stand for the public at Herring Cove Beach within Cape Cod National Seashore, Provincetown, Massachusetts for a period of five years. All personnel, equipment and supplies needed to operate shall be provided by the concessioner. Annual gross receipts for 2000 were $68,234. The Director, National Park Service, has determined that this is a qualified new concession contract as annual gross receipts are estimated to be less than $500,000 in the first 12 months of its term. Therefore, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51.36, a preferred offeror for this contract exists. Offers are due December 14, 2001. Requests for prospectuses may be made to National Park Service, Cape Cod National Seashore, 99 Marconi Site Road, Wellfleet, Massachusetts 02667, ATTN: Maria Burks, Superintendent, telephone (508) 349-3785, extension 202. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for November 1, 2001. The cost for each prospectus is $20.00. Checks should be made payable to the National Park Service. A Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number must be provided on all checks.
